The House of Representatives was never intended to be a body of politically elite, who were motivated by self-preservation and special interests.  It was to be the Peoples House filled with the true representatives of their communities and guided only by the consent, wishes, and for the equal benefit of the governed.

A common thread through almost all of our problems, social, economic, and international, is the divergence from the mandates and requisites of the Constitution driven by special interest motivations as opposed to the national good and a decay of our moral principles and values.    Reaffirmation of our rights and freedoms of life, liberty, and property,  protection of the Republic, correction of our national deficiencies, and restoration of our mutual respect  of both the governed and governors necessitate decisive action to return to the equilibrium “Of the People, By the people, and For the People.

Every election cycle you have the same political rhetoric of small government, less spending, and lower taxes but after the election it is always back to business as normal.  I can’t guarantee the next Congress will be any different but I can and do pledge and guarantee it will be my fight.  As an Independent in Congress my allegiance is to Constitution and you, never to distinct special interests.   I will sustain my personal drive for fiscal responsibility, less government intrusion into your liberties, and a more sensible approach to Federal operations.  All of my actions as your representative will be transparent and I will be held responsible and accountable to you the constituents of the 27^th District or I pledge not the seek reelection.  I urge you to insist principle over party and support my election.
